LSG vs GT Match Highlights: The 30th match of the 2023 IPL tournament between Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Supergiants at the Ekna Cricket Stadium in Lucknow was full of excitement till the last ball. Lucknow Supergiants lost an easy chance to win the low-scoring match. Chasing just 136 runs, Lucknow lost by just 7 runs despite KL Rahul's half-century.

Chasing the target of 136 runs given by Gujarat Titans at Ekna Stadium here, the Lucknow Supergiants team was expected to win easily. Accordingly, KL Rahul and Kyle Meyers scored 55 runs in 6.3 overs and gave the team a great start.
Kyle Meyers (24) and Krunal Pandya (23) got off to a good start and stumbled to finish the match. Despite this, KL Rahul scored 68 runs in 61 balls and brought the team close to victory. However, in the death overs, against the disciplined attack of Mohammad Shami and Mohit Sharma, Punjab suffered a severe setback.
Needing 23 runs in the last 3 overs, Mohit Sharma conceded just 6 runs in the 18th over, while Mohammed Shami controlled the KL Rahul force for just 5 runs in the 19th over. Thus, when 12 runs were required in the last over, Mohit Sharma, KL Rahul, and Marcus Stoinis were dismissed. Along with this, Ayush Badoni and Deepak Hooda were run out.
Finally, Gujarat Titans won by 7 runs. Also, the credit for this victory should be given to the Gujarat Titans bowlers who gave only 19 runs in the last 5 overs of the low-scoring match.

KL Rahul has taken 197 innings of 210 matches to complete 7000 runs in T20 cricket. By doing so, he became the first Indian batsman to complete 7000 runs in the fastest time. That, former RCB captain Virat Kohli, who had achieved this feat in 212 innings, has broken the record.
In the 2020 IPL tournament, Kannadiga KL Rahul, who is the holder of the orange cap, has scored 4151 runs with 4 centuries and 33 fifties from 116 IPL matches.
