Chasing the target of 182 runs given by RCB at the Arun Jaitley Stadium here, the Delhi Capitals team scored 187 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 16.4 overs and secured a huge victory. By winning this match, Delhi Capitals has moved to the 9th position in the points table.
David Warner and Philip Salt, who opened the innings for Delhi, punished the RCB bowlers strongly in the new ball. Especially, Warner gave a great start to silent Delhi who scored 22 runs in just 14 balls. Warner, who was playing well, took a big shot off Josh Hazlewood and surrendered the wicket.

Philip Salt, who had failed in the previous matches for Delhi Capitals, produced the best batting performance of his career against RCB. By doing so, he played a special role in Delhi's victory and won the Man of the Match award.
