LSG vs MI IPL 2023 Eliminator Match Highlights: Five-time champions Mumbai Indians are eyeing their sixth trophy win. After a massive failure in the opening matches of the IPL 2023 tournament, Mumbai Indians have made a spectacular comeback. Five-time champions Mumbai Indians will face defending champions Gujarat Titans in the 2nd Qualifier to be held on May 26 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad for a place in the finals. The team that wins here will fight against CSK for the title in the final to be held on May 28.
In the eliminator match held at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Wednesday, the five-time champions Mumbai won the toss and batted and collected 182 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. On the other hand, Lucknow who started the innings managed to score only 101 runs for the loss of all their wickets in 16.3 overs. Apart from Marcus Stoinis (40), no one has put in a bold performance. Akash, who showed the best bowling in his career, took 5 wickets at the cost of only 5 runs and made Mumbai win.
Earlier, Shasvia's Rohit Sharma's team, which entered the playoffs as the fourth team, did not get off to a good start from the openers despite their inconsistent performance at the league level.
