Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar (born: 24-April-1973) is a famous Indian cricketer. Sachin, who is known as the god of the cricket world, has become the leader of records in international cricket. Sachin, who holds the record of scoring the most centuries and runs in international cricket, is also known as the Little Master. Thus Wisden magazine named him as the greatest player in the world after cricket legend Sir Don Bradman.

Sachin, a right-handed batsman who showed great skill in the game of cricket as a boy, played Ranji matches for the Mumbai team. Later, at the age of sixteen, he made his debut in international cricket by playing a Test match against Pakistan in 1989. He became the youngest Indian player to debut in Test cricket. Sachin, who bats as an opener in ODIs, usually plays at number four in Tests. When necessary, slow fast bowling is also done. On 16 November 2013, the day Sachin retired from cricket, the Government of India announced the Bharat Ratna, its highest civilian award. He dedicated it to his mother.
