England Women vs South Africa Women: South Africa made history in T20 Women's World Cup. This is the first time they have entered the final of the T20 World Cup by achieving a thrilling 6-run victory over England in the semi-final match at Newlands in Cape Town.


South Africa put up a great performance in a thrilling match on Friday. He won the toss and batted first and batted well. Openers Laura Vollwart and Tazmin Britts provided a good start.

The pair put on 96 runs in 13.4 overs to lay a solid foundation for South Africa to post a good total.

Laura Wohlwart scored 53 runs off 44 balls.


Tazmin Britts scored 68 runs off 55 balls to support the team.

Marizanne Kapp shone in the final overs scoring an unbeaten 27 off 13 balls with 4 boundaries. South Africa scored 164 runs in 20 overs losing 4 wickets.

England got off to a good start

England got off to an explosive start as they bagged a challenging total. Sophia Dunkley looked dangerous with 28 off 16 balls. Was in the mood to chase down the target easily by scoring 50 runs in 5 overs.


But Tazmin Brits took a good catch off the bowling of Shabnim Ismail to give South Africa their first success. Not only this but it was Tazmin Britts who changed the direction of the match by taking a brilliant catch that was not given by Alice Capsey.

Shabnim Ismail, Ayabonga Xhaka, and Nadine de Klerk were the main reason for South Africa's win with excellent bowling. Shabnim Ismail took 3 wickets with 27 runs in 4 overs, and Ayabonga Khaka took 4 wickets with 29 runs in 4 overs. Nadine de Klerk took 1 wicket for just 17 runs in 4 overs.

The South African team, which has entered the final of the Women's T20 World Cup for the first time, will fight for the title against mighty Australia on Sunday, February 26, at the same venue.
